Contest rules « Draw me a Quaggan »
Article 1 – Purpose and theme of the contest
The Foostival, held by benevolent creators from the French speaking Guild Wars 2 community, organizes a contest of digital art ahead of the 2023 edition.
This contest’s theme is “Draw me a quaggan”.
The purpose of the contest is to chose the official mascot for the 2023 edition of the Foostival
It will take place from May 6th at 10h AM CET to July 2nd 11h59 PM CET
Article 2 : Participation restrictions
This contest is open to anyone without any age restriction
One submission only per person is allowed
The participation to this contest is free
Article 3 : Eligibility
The submitted piece for this contest must be personal.
The piece must be on an A4 document (300 dpi 2480 x 3508 px for digital).
The piece must be submitted via this form in a jpeg, png or pdf format.
Article 4 : Copyright and use of submitted creations
By participating in this contest, you confirm that the submitted piece is yours and authorize the Foostival team to use your creation in their communication for the 2023 edition. The winning piece will be used on different supports (digital poster, flyers). The definitive file might be altered by the Foostival team in order to adapt it to its promotional support. The non winning creations will punctually be shared on the Foostival Twitter account https://twitter.com/Foostival, Facebook account https://www.facebook.com/foostival and website foostival.eu.
When submitting your creation, you may specify if you wish the sharing post to be anonymous or credited in the communication surrounding the event.
In application of the digital and freedom French law n°78.17 of January 6th 1978, the identifying information will only be used to specify winners and won’t be kept further.
Article 5 : Selection and Notification of the Winner
The drawing contest winner will be chosen by an internal jury from the Foostival team.
The jury is sovereign and no reclamation will be permitted.
Article 6 : Prizes
All prizes will be distributed after the contest during the two following months at most (August 18 2023)
All prizes are digital and must be retrieved on the online game Guild Wars 2 using an ArenaNet account (not applicable to Steam accounts).
Those prizes are :
- 1st place : 2400 gems and 1 community chest
- 2nd place : 1200 gems and 1 community chest
- 3rd place : 800 gems and 1 community chest
- 4th and 5th places : 400 gems and 1 community chest
- 6th to 10th places : 1 community chest
Prizes are non negotiable or exchangeable for any other prize by the organization team.
Article 7 : Agreement to Rules
By submitting your creation to participate in the contest, you agree the entirety of those rules and the result unconditionally. The Foostival team reserves the right to change those rules without prior notice.
